The Story of Egyptian Village Volume 1
Ancient Egypt Volume 1 is a series of 3D models based around buildings found in the dynastic era of Egypt. Create ancient world and Biblical scenes easily with these fully furnished models based on Egyptian life.

The Models

  • Ancient Egyptian Laborer's House. The hard working ancient Egyptian laborer comes home to a brick and stone two room home. Stairs built up one wall lead to the roof, where reed mats provide some respite. Inside a front room is available with a few wooden pieces of furniture, where all food preparation and family activities take place. A back bedroom provides some little privacy to the laborer and his wife. One luxury is a senet game to play with his wife or visiting friends.Includes props: bed, big table, chair, chest, cup, laborer's house, laborer's house demo, plate, senet, bench seat, table, wooden shelf.
  • Ancient Egyptian Bakery. The bakery is both a place of work as well as a home for the baker and his family. Freshly baked bread rests on racks outside, ready for purchase. In an inner courtyard, the baker and his slaves use two types of ovens - a traditional in ground oven, and more modern above ground oven. Egyptian bakeries can be found throughout any Egyptian city of the ancient world.   • Ancient Egyptian Perfumer. The Perfumer is a member of the small but rising merchantile class that serves the wealthy and the nobility with its high quality luxury goods. The center of the building is open to the sun, allowing natural processes to dry certain elements. A shop area is near the well decorated entry, whereas in the back, you can find small tables with alchemic tools and vessels. In the back, there is a storage and living area. Nobles can enter if they wish, or send servants to summon the perfumer to court - where the elite can sample perfumes and other fragrances.   • Ancient Egyptian Sandal Maker. The sandal maker makes sandals that the poor man cannot afford - sandals made primarily of leather. A large work room leads up to the roof, where leather is stretched and dried. Out in front, there are displays where you can see several pre made sandals. The back features the living quarters of the sandal maker. The wealthy can sit on cool stone, and have slaves put their sandals on.   • Ancient Egyptian Brick Maker. The ancient egyptian brick maker employs many laborers and slaves in the production of brick - from gathering and storing straw to mixing it with native clays to setting it into brick molds. Bricks are then allowed to dry, then removed and stacked. The brick maker's foreman maintains quarters on the business grounds.   • Ancient Egyptian Wine Maker. The Egyptian wine maker's place of business is a busy one. Wine can be made using a traditional stomping method; or, there is a special twisted sack method used in ancient Egypt. Wine from both can be hauled over to large storage containers, where slaves then fill them into casks and jars for aging. A vast basement is under the complex, where wine cools and ages. The wine maker's foreman also lives on the grounds.   • Ancient Egyptian Scribe's House. The Egyptian Scribe is a member of the rising merchant class, authorized by the courts to create documents. The Egyptian scribe lives and works both within the same building - his home and office. The first floor is dedicated almost entirely to family living. However after passing through his garden, clients go up the stairs to the scribe's office. The walls are covered with racks of scrolls, and he himself works with a freshly cleaned writing skin.   • Ancient Egyptian Architect. The Egyptian Architect has a beautiful home with an open courtyard - the same place he prepares his masterpieces. Walk up the stairs to the fully furnished living quarters. On the ground floor is a simple office, with a model of a farmer's home (his first efforts) as well as his dream models - working on a project for Ramses.
