Meshbox Announces Meshbox City Depths
Volume 1
NEW SERIES FOR HIGH RESOLUTION ART AND
DEVELOPMENT OF DETAILED 3D RPG MAPS
May 26, 2007. Beaverton,
Oregon-based Meshbox Design, a division of Proactive
International, announces the release of a new set of
3D models for developing highly detailed fantasy role
playing artwork - the Meshbox Depth series. The first
volume announced is City Depths Volume 1.
Special Features of the Depth Series of Models
- High resolution 4000 x 4000 color texture maps and bump
maps
- MeshConnect™ corridors and tunnels for connecting
included models in each set in infinite combinations
- Poser 5+ PP2 Prop versions compatible with e-frontier's
premier 3D product Poser 7. Props are compatible
with Poser 5 and higher.
- Vue 5+ VOB Object versions compatible with e-on software's
Vue version 5 or higher. Vue versions include special
groups and some models include pre-lit areas.
- Demo versions in 3DS, Vue, and Bryce 5 format that
includes a pre-configured structure using all models
in each
set.
City Depths Volume 1 include a total of seven publically
released, individual models. The first two models in
Volume 1 are Underwater Reservoir and Sewer Access. Sewer
Access includes an tunnel and connector that allows a
water services level access to a sewer system found far
below a medieval or fantasy oriented city. Additional
models in City Depths Volume 1 will be released until
all seven are released. A special version, City
Depths Volume 1 Complete Edition is available at a discounted
rate, direct from Meshbox Design's website as a pre-order.
As each model is released, instructions are sent to the
customer on how to download the newly added models. The
Complete Edition also includes a limited edition eight
model that is not available separately. City Depths Volume
1 Complete Edition costs $40, but will increase to $49
after the eight model is released.
