Supreme Forum R2
Like many open buildings in the City of Vampires, the Supreme Forum is a mystery. Many a pretender has stood on the rosta and pontificated and promised, and others have sat on the blood marble thrones of the great Forum hall to praise or betray - yet noone knows who really rules. This set is in fact, made up of three separate buildings - the half blasted outdoors rosta, the secluded, spider gated Senator's Garden, and of course the forum itself. The forum is enriched with detailed black and red marble columns, including bump maps. Transforming the entire set is easy with a simple change of texture.

Island Pier R2
Island Pier is a path furrowed island with a rickety, rough ship pier extending into the tropical waters around the island - a place where smaller pirate vessels can hitch up while its crew takes some leave. Nearby, a rough pirate flag juts out, next to a watch tower where ghosts of pirate crews of the past watch for new visitors.

Pirate Fort R2
The pirate fort on Dead Pirate Cove sits on a hill, allowing a view in all directions. Beyond its mossy gate is a two floor building with a watch tower. Inside, pirate booty awaits, and furnishings that allow the pirates there some relief.

Island Bridge R2
A divided hillock with rocky and sandy beaches peaks over a deep chasm. Below is a hidden path, leading to an older footbridge. Above, a watch tower allows the pirate residents to watch for oncoming cannibals or visitors to help guard the newer, longer bridge that spans the divide.

Ye Pirate Tavern and Inn R2
Ye Pirate Tavern and Inn on Dead Pirate Cove island sits on top of a hill, with a magnificent view of the sea. An expansive front porch provides seating outside. Inside are two large common rooms with a pot on the fire, with evidence of an interrupted repast. Decorations include a Jolly Roger as well as an original painting Mermaide and the Black Ship, decaying on the mantle. Above in this three floor building is more seating plus rooms set aside for sleeping it off.

Tribal Village R2
On the opposite side of Dead Pirate Cove Island is a village of cannibals and their huts. There, find a broad and sandy beach, and just up it a smoky cook fire and a collection of native huts, both small, single dwellings as well as a large communal hut for special festivities.

Pirate Grotto R2
Pirate Grotto includes an unassuming hillside, with beaches on both sides, the back of which has a shallow stream of fresh water that merges into the ocean - a hidden passage into a cave network! The tunnels inside are lit by oil pans, and within you will find the hidden stores and treasure of the pirates. Several chests and barrels of gold, as well as bags of food stuffs await. Land mass attaches easily to other models in the series.

Pirate Watchpost R2
Atop a high hill mid-island is a withered tree - some dark foilage of an ancient time. The island pirates have built a high watchpost, reachable after a long uphill walk and a treacherous ladder climb. Above, there is some respite from the heat - a thatched roof and platform created with old woven tree limbs and dried grasses.

The Barrow

Broken Bridge Falls
Broken Bridge Falls are the site of an ancient river crossing that fell to a barbarian invasion 500 years earlier. Although the bridge itself has collapsed into the river, above the Broken Bridge Falls, the center spire keep and smaller riverside forts still stand. Don't forget to look for hidden passages! The main keep is four floors high, with still remaining doors and untrustworthy ladders. Below, the mightly falls rush to numerous boulders and smaller rocks. Includes river sections, making it possible to extend the river in either direction as far as you like.

Mercenary's Guild
This stately building is based on early Byzantine architecture and the guild of hired swords that operates there. Inside its gate is an open courtyard with beautiful, tiled fountains. Stable your horses in the stables and then rent one of the meeting rooms for contracting with members. In the main building is a large combat hall, where members may practice or, may answer an honor challenge. Above, scholarly texts await in the library. Mercenary's Guild is the bonus model for Dungeon Depths Volume 1 Complete Edition and not sold separately.

The Monastery
Unravel the mystery of The Monastery R2 from Meshbox Design. The Monastery is a complete, medieval location with multiple, furnished buildings, hill, hidden passage ways and more - you will discover more and more as you use The Monastery. The Monastery includes a complete gatehouse system, chapel, blacksmith/stables, tower quarters and a rich library complex that includes a scriptorium as well as a complex network of levels with reading rooms. Thieves Guild
On the outer edge of town is a decrepit old inn, not so commonly used but turned in a dark and common purpose - a training and meeting location for the Thieve's Guild! This inn has three floors and a basement, fully furnished with several rooms. The top floor has a private meeting room for the guild, and the basement features a training area, with a mugging dummy and diagrams for attacking pontential victims.

Temple of the Wolf
As the empire fell, so did the the Temple of Mars - and fell into ruins. The forest crept over it, and a hidden darkness left unguarded took root. It called for the weak of will to come and rebuild. So has the ancient temple of Mars become the Temple of the Wolf, an alien and evil god. Temple of the Wolf is a Roman ruin, recently occupied. It shows the faded textures of roman beauty, but also signs of new construction.

The Elven Inn is a welcome sight, for it is hidden from the eyes of mortal men by elven craft. Up an elegant double set of stairs, one is led into a grand hall under a gleaming silver lamp, where a concierge awaits. A pair of lit patios allow for viewing the gardens. Upstairs rooms, including a party room, offer balcony views of the town.

Elven Village Church 1 R2
The elven church is a beautiful, stain glass decorated dome, with open passages allowing the wind to pass through. The altar is simple, a quiet, place where unpleasant thoughts and unwelcome memories can be sacrificed. To one side, the owl-crested chair of the priest awaits.

Elven Village Blacksmith 1 R2
A silver hammer rings musically on an ancient and magical anvil. Sheathed in a dragonskin roof and elven roof accents, this beautiful building is both serviceable yet very distinctly elvish. The Elven Village Blacksmith is the last stop out of town to sharpen your blade for adventure. Out back, you'll find beautiful, finished swords, axes and shields, while the smith works inside, a table of smith tools and a complete forge. Overhead a beautiful elven lamp lights his work.

Elven Village Woodshaper 1 R2
Unlike other races, elven societies treat forests more like a farmer raises livestock and work animals; not all trees are for cutting or turning into smoke. The woodshaper will cut down trees, but as much, they plant and raise new trees, and use their special magic to shape trees for beauty and other uses. The woodshaper's house has an attached greenhouse, and a main room where he both works and rests. Outside, two balconys feature potted trees, and a beautiful leafy trellis adds both beauty and coolness to the woodshaper's home.

Gnomes grow enormous versions of natural objects for architectural purposes, including this forest watermill built inside a giant mushroom! This building is a multi-floor, fully furnished and textured building, with base river hill and dam, waterwheel, and more. The bottom floor contains storage, and an accountants table and ledger - just honk the horn to enter. Upper floors are devoted to the grist mill, with a rope lift to bring goods up to the top floor for grinding.

Haunted Blacksmith R2
Haunted Blacksmith is a timeless building that could exist in almost any era of North American history, just prior to the present. The blacksmith sign is blurred with age, but it remains not terribly unlike when it was in service. Tools hang from the ceiling. The bellows are disconnected from the forge. An idle hammer sits on the anvil. Out back is a corral, and a well to service the blacksmith and the animals. The blacksmith also had an old style smokehouse, with pipe fed smoke and still a piece of hanging meat within.

Haunted Church R2
Haunted Church is a complete 19th century protestant church much like those you would find in the United States and Canada from the mid 1800s to present (in rural areas). The church features a bell tower, complete with bell and rope, a complete chapel with pews, font and altar area and more! A dusty back room has an underused priests sanctuary. The basement level has a broad, open area for storage and other social uses, with several sets of stairs, a trap door from the chapel, and a storm door leading directly outside. The haunted church also has a small, back exit as well, and newly improved stained glass windows. A little larger than a boarding house, this closed inn was at one time charming - some furnishings are covered with dust cloths, and some damage can be found in a shattered mirror and broken clock. This Victorian era house was converted into a modern and extremely popular coffee house - Ada's Coffee House! Guests can enjoy a fine cup out on the front porch or inside a spacious serving area. Special guests can use a back room that has a comfortable couch and even a fireplace - recently expanded to be a complete tea room, with cart and tea cake. This small but multipurpose building is based on the Liberty Theatre, built in Astoria, Oregon in the 1920s and still operating today. It features a ticket booth, outside. Designed for a street corner, the building has two lobby wings, with two levels, the top of which leads into balcony seating. The theatre portion itself features a curtain and stage and plenty of seating - perfect for plays or movies.

Pop's Country Store - you picture it just down the street in any small American town. This turn of the century building has a down home, small town feeling. Redmen Hall
In 1894 the Wakiakum county town of Skamokawa community built the Central School, today known as Redmen Hall and containing the River Life Interpretive Center, a sort community activity center and museum dedicated to live on the river. This old building, rejuvenated by local support, has a full three floors, a store, local exhibition floor and attic which still contains left over books and turn of the century furnishings from the old school house.

Netrack and Gillnetter
Though disappearing from many coastal and river towns of North America, the net rack is a work building where local fishermen store their fishing nets and also do some basic maintenance and repair to their gill netter boats. This net rack has seen many years of use, though it offers some comforts, including an ancient soda pop machine, refrigerator and an old stove for warming hands and food. A front porch and entry allow land side access. Even includes a small gill netter craft!

Esoteric Order of Dagon
First built in 1840s, the Masonic Temple suffered the ills of the economic decline of Innsmouth and a declining membership by the turn of the century. They finally they sold out their building to a hitherto private, local organization called the Esoteric Order of Dagon - a quasi-religious group dominated by the Marsh family. This multi-level building has a large reception hall, private libraries, a private, hidden passage out to the sea and a large room for holding mind shattering rituals. A mysterious signal lamp on the roof points into town, rather than out.

The Fire Station
First built in 1881, but based on photos from the 1920s, this firestation is a classic red brick New England style fire station, complete with garage, crew quarters, office and more. Spacious and capable of housing fire engines from the the 1880s onward. The Innsmouth Fire Station was one of the few refuges of normality in Innsmouth, one that the narrator in Shadow Over Innsmouth found very briefly.

The Gilman House Hotel
The Gilman House Hotel figured greatly in HP Lovecraft's classic story Shadow over Innsmouth and is the only hotel in the city; our hero escapes after getting a room up on the fourth floor. The hotel features a full foyer and registration desk area, dining room, kitchen and a completely populated example room with moody, early lighting fixtures. There is also back courtyard. The hotel was likely built around 1840, right before a dramatic economic plunge.

The Marsh Refinery Office
The Marsh Refining Company was founded in 1830 by Captain Obed Marsh of Innsmouth. After several trips to the South Pacific, Captain Marsh became extremely wealthy, and built a refinery on the river in order to process gold into gold ingots and a complete office building in the city in order to handle the booming business. Until 1838, the city saw rapid expansion, until a set back in the south pacific left Captain Marsh with a dillema on where to source his gold. The Marsh Refinery Office still stands to the date in which the HP Lovecraft tale Shadow Over Innsmouth takes place. Although stricken by calimity after calimity, members of the Marsh family can sometimes be spotted secretly entering the building. The Marsh Refinery Office is a multi-floor building, with a full reception area and elevator on the first floor, completed offices on the second floor and more space for expansion. The top floor has a dark boardroom, and a private office of the Marsh elder.

The Manuxet Restaurant, which specializes in seafood, gave little respite to the narrator of Shadow Over Innsmouth. This urban restaurant occupies a narrow, urban building (with two additional floors you can populate!). A complete front area provides tables, booth and counter seating. Includes a fully furnished kitchen (with counter space, two ice boxes, stove), single rest room and also a storage room. Based on an authentic photograph of a grocery store in the 1920s.

Ruined Lighthouse
At one time, this lighthouse and keeper kept a close eye on ships straying too close to Devil's Reef; decades after the change began in Innsmouth, the lighthouse still works, but is slowly decaying into ruin as the tainted keeper rarely attends to his duties. This lighthouse is based loosely on a historical lighthouse in Glouster, said to be a possible inspiration to Lovecraft. It consists of the keeper's house, a long, windowless corridor between house and lighthouse, and the lighthouse itself. Both buildings are completely furnished. The lighthouse also includes a lens system that is era specific to the 1930s. This model is the bonus model for Innsmouth Volume 1 Complete Edition, and only available a a part of that set.

The National Grocery chain store in Innsmouth provided one of the few friendly faces to be met by the narrator of Shadow Over Innsmouth - a lone boy worker who originally came from Arkham provided the narrator with advice and a rough map of the town. This store is set up in the corner portion of a building, with entries on two sides. The building is much patched and shows signs of later modification. A stairway around one side provides access to an upstairs storage room. The store is well lit, with pre-placed goods behind the counter. Based on an authentic photograph of a grocery store in the 1920s.

The Orne Museum is a beautiful, two floor structure that fits into any city, circa 1880's - 1950's, with a definite late colonial style. Pickman Freshman Dorm R2
All Miskatonic University freshmen, except under express permission from a senior administrator, must live on campus - and most young, unmarried men live in the Pickman Freshman Dorm. The Pickman Freshman Dorm is a very long building and one of the older buildings on campus. It includes rest rooms and showers at the end of each floor, and a central dining hall for students. One room is set up, fully furnished, with desks, chairs, beds and closets so that typical dorm room scenes can be rapidly created. The updated R2 version features an expanded dining room with full cafeteria equipment.

Pickman Freshman Dorm Basement R2
Below the freshman dorm is an additional level, where an ancient water pump and antiquated coal central heating machine struggle to keep up with the needs of the resident students. Yet all is not what it seems. A messed up storage room where an apparent interrogation went bad leads right into a narrow chamber - which in turn allows secret entrance into the city sewer system. Some students are aware of this venue of escape, or tend to a hidden moonshine still.

Peeslee School of Medicine R2
The Peeslee School of Medicine is the main medical training college at Miskatonic University. The main building has two full floors. On the first floor, you have two large lecture halls, smaller class rooms and of course, a main reception area that opens out onto the back lawn. There's plenty of room to expand on the top floor. Includes six medical pictures to adorn the walls. A beautiful, decorative dome structure is visible on the roof. A new addition - a complete dental lab for a course in dentistry!

Peeslee School of Medicine Basement R2
Below the Peeslee School of Medicine Basement, there's almost more activity than on the main floor! The basement can be reached by stairs from the main building or by way of a private, concrete ramp for corpse delivery. Students can gather in a large medical theatre or in a large operating room. A smaller operating room is also available. The chief surgeon's office is nearby, and there's a morgue for keeping corpses cool and ready for examination. New R2 release adds real and cruel Restraining Chair, actually used in 1930s asylums and a surprise from the Deep Ones.

Wingate Library R2
The Wingate Library is a specialized building that carries some of the oldest international documents and tomes on the Miskatonic University campus. The ground floor is a spacious affair, with large tables and many book shelves filled with collected books - just look them up in the card catalog! For security and convenience, a night watchman office and bath room are also found on the main floor. Stairs lead up to a gallery of quiet study areas, made private by book shelves. Unique, arabesque lights and desk lamps provide most lighting.

Wingate Library Basement R2
The basement of the Wingate Library is a specialized environment, all to itself, and completely furnished. Older card catalogs and bookshelves are found throughout the spacious basement, well lit by the arabeque lamps that are found in many Miskatonic University buildings. Two offices - one for the librarian, the other for his assistant are also available. Both have desks, chairs and additional book cases - but there's more - office clutter, Arkham style.

The Miskatonic University College of Liberal Arts Basement holds greater secrets than one might suspect, because of a secret second level! Descend to the first level basement, by the inside stairs, the outside back door, or through a secret attic style ladder-stair from a secret door from above. In addition to the coal powered boiler room, you have a box and textbook filled store room as well as a print room with a 1920's style mimeograph system. Get all four types of lighting as well - naked bulbs, platter style lamps, university arabesque lamps and table lamps. Down a secret stair to the second basement is a private library and meeting hall, with the symbol of the one eye pyramid of the Illuminati on the wall. Through a door, is another library, bar and warm fireplace, so that the conspirators can enjoy an after meeting drink in their own private club.

Below the university gymnasium is the school laundry, with several industrial washing machines and a massive coal powered water heater that heats not only the washing machines but also the bathrooms for the entire building. In fact the heating room is a dark place and seemingly dangerous place, though a locked side room has a bloody reminder of some horrible deed. Two sets of stairs come down from above, as well as a back of the building laundry entrance.

Wells College of Physical Science is a modern building for the 1920's, having been built with contributions from a university benefactor and even includes a modern elevator. Here, the physical sciences are pursued, from theoretical physics to advanced electrical engineering; some of the most advanced studies that touch on the forbidden have happened after hours. In addition to lecture halls, the Wells College also has an electrical and particle lab, chemical lab, professor's offices and more.

A hidden office can also be found in the basement, but why are their surgeon's tools in there?

Old West National Bank and Assay Office is where you go for the gold - to weigh it, bank it, and turn it into cash. Old West Sheriff's Office and Gallows R2
The Sheriff's Office also doubles as the town jail. This building features a traditional old west façade, and a comfortable front room where the sheriff deputy awaits. On the table, you can find a traditional oil lamp and a pair of hand cuffs. Behind, is a simple jail cell for local miscreants, drunks, varmints and sheep ranchers, and outside is the ultimate old west justice - the gallows.

Old West Train Station R2
Old West Trainstation takes both freight and passengers - small, but not missing amenities expected in an old west town. Victoria Station is inspired by the historical Victoria Station in London, a perfect location for embarking on an adventure. Art Deco Manor
This elegant, British manor is perhaps the property of the new rich - such as those who made their wealth on the importation of cars or through stock trading. 221B Baker Street and Block is not all that different from a more traditional representation of the home of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, but slightly recast to fit within a steampunk setting. This set includes a block of empty buildings with street access basement levels (and lights!), as well as a completely detailed 221B Baker Street building. The home of Sherlock Holmes is four floors, with kitchen, bathrooms, rooms for all three (Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson and Mrs Hudson), parlor, dining room, Dr Watson's office and Sherlock's office - filled with gadgets and other equipment appropriate to the steampunk genre.

Abandoned Clock Factory and Villain's Lair 3D
Though the industry of the old Victorian Clock Factory is silenced, there is still hidden activity. The factory includes multiple buildings filled with rusted equipment, yet still of use. Large machines are quiet, but there's a light in the office. Drive through the gates, and pull into the largest building. A suprisingly equipt office had some hidden stairs that in turn lead down to an office and engineering lab of a notorious steampunk villain.

Assembly Cafe
The Assembly House Cafe was built out of an old industrial grain silo, so its nothing much to look at from the outside, but inside is a sometimes dark den of mysterious travellers, criminals, adventurers and perhaps even anarchists! A revolving door brings you into an open lobby and elevator area - to your left is a grand cafe, with bars on several levels and a full, restored steampunk music organ entwining the room. In another silo, a kitchen and a full power plant with a few extra mysterious engines.

Babbage's Thinking Mansion
The inventor Charles Babbage in the steampunk universe goes beyond conceptualizing the first analytical engines - he created a massive thinking mansion - an analytical steam powered computer of whirling brass number cylinders, gears and read outs. Yet his home still is a home, with bedrooms, bathroom, and other rooms, connected by punch keyed intercoms!

Steampunk Bookstore and Genius Lair 3D
This elegant citadel of learning features multiple check out counters and a multi-storied tower of books, all within reach of the patented Monton Archiver Machine, a steam powered machine capabile of helping a seated operator locate and pick books from any shelf, and delivering it to the hands of a customer below. One can ascend the tower either by spiral staircase, or by elevator, and reach the observatory, where gentle persons can relax and read their books. But outside of this upper level is a curious combination of dwelling place and machine - the scholar's apartment. The apartment has just enough room for a few volumes of books and a bed, along with its unusual machinery - perhaps a traveling container of some kind?

Opium Den and Old Chinese Laundry 3D
Although many have benefited from the expanded empire, the city has a dark side in the trade and indulgence of opium. This building once contained a properous Chinese laundry, until less scrupulous elements moved in and turned it into an opium den. This contains multiple floors, with a lobby/registration area, dream rooms, bunks for sleeping it off, and the multi-floor decaying laundry, still intact - and still capable of using the old but serviceable steam-powered laundry system.

Steampunk Grand Arboretum 3D
The Grand Arboretum combines the steampunk vision of Albert Robida with a fast urban super terrarium such that urbanites in Paris or London may enjoy. The Grand Arboretum is a multistory, multi-building glass and metal structure, with an elevator, stairs and skywalks of glass and light weight metals, and high above is the home of the mysterious architect, spinning very slowly on a great set of clockwork gears.

The Zepplin Station 3D
Every major section of the largest cities in the steam powered Victorian Empire feature Zepplin Stations, where middle and upper class citizens can make use of the most advanced form of urban travel. At the bottom level, you can purchase tickets, then take one of two fast lifts up to the flight lobby. On the flight lobby, you can take a moment's respite in the cafes at each end of the station, or simply sit on waiting benches for your flight.
